Live ops cadence, flagship editorial standards.
Production for a flagship franchise.
As the lead producer for Gears of War support content, I orchestrated the end-to-end delivery of player assistance materials across multiple game titles. The role balanced rapid response to live issues against the premium editorial standards expected from a flagship Xbox franchise.
Working within Xbox’s internal tooling ecosystem, I ensured all support materials met strict accessibility guidelines and maintained consistency with the Gears of War brand — creating a seamless support experience for players worldwide.
How the work, actually worked.
Developed a unified content framework that maintained brand consistency while allowing for title-specific variations. Modular blocks could be mixed and matched across support scenarios, reducing duplication and localization costs.
Established a streamlined localization pipeline that cut turnaround by 60%. Served as primary liaison between game studios, localization teams, and platform engineers — conducting regular syncs to align priorities, resolve blockers, and meet aggressive deadlines during major updates and DLC releases.
“Our modular content system allowed us to deploy critical updates across 40+ languages within hours, not days.” — Senior content producer, Xbox Support
