Arcane Scholar
Every system has a flaw.
Who they are
The Arcane Scholar isn't a wizard, whatever the name suggests. He is a system administrator. Where you see a fight, he sees an API — your charges are tokens to be drained, your move history is a log to be parsed, your guard is a permission flag to be flipped. He won the day he stopped thinking of Blindspot as combat and started thinking of it as input.
The Server Room
The corridor hums with electricity. Blue light pulses through cables that line the walls like veins. This is the Cipher's domain — a place where information flows faster than blood, and the air carries the faint smell of ozone and overheated copper.
Strengths
Hack steals one of your charges every time he lands a hit. The longer the fight runs, the less you have to work with. Strikes do 20% less to him — Exploit makes brute-force builds look pedestrian.
His high INT (12) and balanced LCK (9) mean ability damage is consistently dangerous. He's not built to outlast — he's built to suffocate.
Weaknesses
Weak to STR (6) — a heavy STR build punches through his defensive code faster than he can rewrite it. Abilities deal +15% damage. Guard up early to protect your charges, then close the fight before the charge drain becomes terminal.
Signature moves
Hack
Steals one of your charges on hit. Every successful strike against you is also a withdrawal.
Exploit
Strikes deal 20% less damage to him. He's read your stance and patched the vulnerability.
Card traits

The Hacker archetype
Hackers don't break rules — they read them faster than you do. Where you see combat, they see input handlers. Where you see your charges, they see uncollected data.
